Oscar & Willow Millinery
Founded by Fleur Curtis, Oscar & Willow Millinery is a luxury headwear brand based in Shrewsbury, UK. Before becoming a milliner, Fleur spent 22 years in healthcare, working as an auxiliary nurse, and then physician associate on the wards of the NHS. She additionally worked in alternative medicine as a medical herbalist. In 2021, she transformed her passion for millinery into a new career path, opening her shop and studio.
Her exquisite craftsmanship has earned prestigious accolades, including The Feltmakers Design Awards (2021, 2023) and The British Hat Guild Award (2023). Each hat is handcrafted in her studio, blending both traditional and modern techniques. She creates seasonal ready-to-wear collections and bespoke commissions, focussing on quality, diligence to detail, and individuality.
Fleur cherishes the connection she makes with her clients and the confidence a well-made hat can bring to them. “It’s so delightful to see someone’s demeanour, posture and confidence change when they wear a hat or headpiece that truly reflects who they are, and how they would like to feel. It’s like creating a wearable piece of magic!”
