Venue: Hat Factory Arts Centre, 65, 67 Bute St, Luton LU1 2EY (2 minute walk from Luton station). Just across the road from the exhibition venue, which is Hat Works.

The event begins at 2pm and will end at 3:30pm which includes time for questions and people mingling to say goodbye after the event.

Milliner Noel Stewart will chair a panel of award winning costume designers, including Hayley Nebauer who designed Doctor Who series 10, and Liz Ascroft the set and costume designer behind Mother Goose starring Ian McKellen. The final panellist to be confirmed for this event is Jenny Beavan, she has won 3 Oscars for Costume Design.

The discussion will be a rich exploration of how, why, and when millinery can be employed to enhance and elevate costume design.

A must-attend event for anyone passionate about the artistry of costume design and millinery, the discussion will offer valuable insights into the ways in which headwear can enhance character development, storytelling, and visual impact within the world of costume.
